Albaray x Anna Unwin Capsule Collection

Anna Unwin

Interior stylist, consultant and vintage curator Anna Unwin, based between Ibiza and the UK, with a background in textile design, brings a distinctive point of view to everything she touches: timeless minimalism, elevated by texture, materiality and carefully sourced pieces. So when we began marking our five-year milestone, collaborating with Anna felt like the most natural next step.

In this Q&A, Anna shares why Albaray’s women-founded, sustainability-led ethos and thoughtful fabric choices made the partnership feel instinctive, and how her “less-is-more” approach shaped the collection from the very beginning. From letting fabrics lead the cut and drape, to drawing inspiration from Ibiza’s landscapes and seasonal tones, she talks us through the details that matter, including the white balloon pants she calls the ultimate Ibiza staple and a woven range in an unexpected honey neutral. We also explore who she hopes will connect with the capsule: a versatile, mix-and-match wardrobe designed to work across shapes, ages and holiday moments, taking the guesswork out of getting dressed.

Q&A with Anna Unwin

For anyone discovering you for the first time, can you tell us a bit about yourself and your work?

I’m Anna Unwin, an interior stylist, consultant and vintage curator based between Ibiza and the UK, with a background in textile design. My work is rooted in minimalism, with a strong focus on texture, materiality and timeless, carefully sourced pieces.

What was it about Albaray that made you want to collaborate on this collection?

Albaray felt like a natural fit, a British brand founded by women, with a genuine commitment to sustainability and thoughtful fabric choices. Their values around responsible production and timeless design align closely with my own approach, making the collaboration feel instinctive and authentic.

How would you define your style? Whether it’s in fashion, interiors, or the way you live your life?

Timeless and minimal, with an effortless sense of cool. Whether in fashion, interiors, or everyday life, it’s all about the details ,a less-is-more approach, quality textiles, and pieces that stand the test of time rather than following trends.

As someone who works with space, texture, and colour every day, how did you bring that eye for detail into this project?

The collection is designed so that every piece complements the others and can be worn together effortlessly. The starting point was the fabrics, which guided the cut and drape, with texture and shape considered in every detail.

What inspires you? Fashion, interiors, film, culturally.

Living in Ibiza, I’m inspired by the connection to nature and the changing colours of the seasons and the textures of the landscape. I’m also drawn to craftsmanship, the beauty of imperfect pieces, and the mark of the hand in both fashion and interiors.

When you first saw the collection coming together, were there pieces that immediately spoke to you?

I was immediately drawn to the white balloon pants the perfect Ibiza staple that can be dressed up or down and takes on a different character depending on the styling. I also love the woven fabric range, particularly the unusual honey shade, which feels like a fresh take on a neutral palette and pairs effortlessly with everything.

Who do you hope connects with the collection, and what feeling or mood would you love for them to experience?

I hope the collection resonates with a broad range of people. The collection is designed to work for all shapes and ages, with styling that allows each person to make it their own. I wanted to take the guesswork out of packing, creating a wardrobe where all the pieces work together effortlessly, the ultimate go-to holiday collection.

Are there anymore exciting projects in the works you can tell us about?

I’m moving more into a consulting role, bringing together my years of experience in textile development, interior styling, and vintage curation. My focus remains on a “less is more” approach, with handcrafted, sustainable pieces at the heart of everything I do. I’m also excited by the crossover between interiors, fashion, and the way we live, a connection I think will become increasingly important. I hope to continue my collaboration with Albaray, staying true to the values we share.
