We are Albaray, a UK-based fashion brand offering stylish, responsibly made clothing for women. We create collections made for a capsule wardrobe that puts the earth at the forefront of every decision made during the design process... Founded by Paula Stewart, Karen Peacock and Kirstie Di Stazio, who met whilst working at a high street brand. Albaray was a lockdown idea that came to fruition and launched in 2021. Albaray combines contemporary design with ethical practices, ensuring that every piece not only looks amazing but also does good for the environment.

Albaray stands out in the fashion industry by prioritising sustainability at every stage of production. The brand uses environmentally friendly materials, including organic cotton, recycled polyester, and Ecovero viscose which are not only kinder to the planet but also provide comfort and durability. By focusing on responsible sourcing and reducing waste, we are dedicated to lowering its carbon footprint, making it an ideal choice for eco-conscious shoppers. All our designs are thoughtfully ideated and brought to life by our in-house team led by Karen Peacock.

We believe in transparency and ethical production practices. We work closely with manufacturers who share its commitment to fair labour conditions and responsible fabric sourcing, ensuring that workers are treated with respect and paid fairly. This approach helps us build long-term partnerships with suppliers who prioritise quality and ethics, aligning with the brand’s mission to promote slow fashion over fast fashion. Many of Albaray’s suppliers are considered friends of the brand.

We also encourage customers to care for their garments so they can last forever. On all our product pages you can find care instructions on how to extend the life of their clothing through proper washing and drying.

Caring for our community is important to us. We support various charities that are important to all three founders. Currently we are partnered with Smart Works, The Prince’s Trust and Pregnant then Screwed.
