Website Manager
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Website Manager to join our busy Ecommerce team at an exciting time of growth. The Website Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising the performance of the Albaray website to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and increase brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, with a deep understanding of how to optimise content, improve user journeys, and drive online growth.
Website Management & Development:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Albaray Shopify website, to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly website that reflects the brand identity.
- Coordinate with the product team to manage product launches, promotions, and sale events, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality presentation.
- Regularly update product collections, ensuring that product assortments are fresh, relevant, and seasonally appropriate.
- Optimise product pages for conversions, ensuring product descriptions, images, customer reviews and UGC enhance the customer buying experience.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase site traffic.
- Implement new website features and apps, working closely with an external IT team.
- Manage integrations with third-party apps (e.g., review platforms, payment gateways, CRM) and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Manage the onsite customer service experience, ensuring that FAQs, return policies, and contact information are easily accessible.
- Work within the digital team to ensure seamless technical integration of all campaigns, including email marketing, paid advertising, and social media, with the website.
- Conduct regular website audits to ensure all functionality (e.g., navigation, checkout process, mobile responsiveness) is optimal and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Journeys:
- Continuously enhance the user journey on the website by improving navigation, search functionality, and product categorisation to ensure customers can easily find and purchase products.
- Take ownership of all automated emails in Klaviyo and Shopify ensuring that all customer touch-points are on brand and relevant.
- Manage customer segments within Klaviyo and Shopify, adhering to GDPR standards.
Data and Asset Management:
- Manage all Albaray product imagery and videos on the website.
- Create engaging homepage banners and assets for digital marketing campaigns
- Organise product imagery and videos for all retail partners in their specific requirements.
- Assist the product team with sending data over to partners, including product descriptions, image links and uploading assets into their portals.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate monthly reports on website performance and present insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
- Use data-driven decision-making to optimise conversion rates, user experience, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor competitor websites and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Shopify ecommerce/website management, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
- Experience in using Klaviyo (or similar CRM platform) for email automations and segmentation.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, proficient in editing templates, designing promotional assets and cropping imagery.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and conversion rate optimisation techniques.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Customer-centric and passionate about delivering an exceptional user experience and driving online sales.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when updating website content, email automations or troubleshooting issues.
