I have a rule of thumb when styling a feminine piece like this lace maxi skirt - to off-set it with a masculine piece and contrast textures.
So this is how I’d style lace now - adding the contrast of heavy fabric like suede to the delicacy of the skirt and the masculine shirt style and a loafer to off- set the femininity of the lace skirt.

I'm sure a white midi wasn't on your bingo card for Spring '25 but it's surprisingly one of the most useful and wearable pieces, plus it looks pretty cool. And yes, it's ok for busy mums/women to wear white, worst case you'll spill a little something on it, just chuck it in the wash, or lay it out in the sun to bleach it!
